Mumbai
India
2008

India is one of the planet's most developed countries. It has a budget of 300 billion dollars, more cash in Swiss banks than any other country, a space program, a high tech army etc...

Yet the level of poverty, mostly in its urban areas is mindblowing and very difficult to swallow if you have affinity for the place like I do.

The number of homeless, living in the streets and avenues of Indian cities is something you think you get used to after numerous visits. But not really.

The following series are a reminder to the Indian state of where its priorities should lie.
